Real-World Experience
Once I concluded the chapter, I wanted to take the talismans off my character, but I didn’t know how. I tried removing them in the equipment menu, but it didn’t work. Then, I realized there was a specific NPC near the end of the chapter who could remove them.
Everyday Use
To my relief, the NPC was easy to find, and the process of removing the talismans was quick and painless. I was so grateful not to have to run around the game world trying to figure out how to do it myself. It was a bit of a hassle to have to go to an NPC, but it was still much easier than trying to figure it out on my own.
Practical Application
I can’t imagine having to play the game without the ability to remove talismans after finishing a chapter. It would be very frustrating to have to keep wearing talismans that I didn’t want or need anymore. Being able to remove them allows me to customize my character’s appearance and stats to my liking.
