Destiny 2’s player count on PS4 has consistently exceeded that of its competitors. While Warframe boasts an impressive player base on PC, it has yet to achieve the same level of popularity on consoles. Anthem, another looter shooter, garnered significant attention upon release but its player count has since dwindled due to technical issues and repetitive gameplay. Destiny 2 remains the dominant force in the console looter shooter market, with its deep endgame content, regular updates, and a dedicated player base.
